Dr. Nazia Jaffoo Khan's book on Urdu Literature was launched at the Islamic Cultural Centre, Port Louis on the occasion of Urdu Day 2021 in the presence of the Hon Minister Fazila Jeewa-Daureeawoo, Vice PM Hon Dr. Anwar Husnoo, Chairman of the Islamic Cultural Centre and the Lord Mayor of capital city Port Louis. Other eminent personalities like High Commissioner for Pakistan, High Commissioner for Egypt, Hon Ismael Rawoo, Hon Muhammad Reza Cassam Uteem graced the function.

The Urdu Speaking Union celebrated its 20 years of existence at the Islamic Cultural Centre on 10 Dec 2022.
Awarded by the Muslim Ladies Council
Dr. Nazia Jaffoo Khan was awarded by the Muslim Ladies council (Mauritius) in 2018 for being the first lady in Mauritius having done PhD in Urdu. Momento being offered by Hon. Shakeel Mohamed.

A cultural programme and celebration of YAUM UN NABI (S.A.W) organised by the Muslim Ladies Council at the Islamic Cultural Centre, Port Louis on 9th December 2017. Dr. Nazia Jaffoo Khan was the master of ceremonies.
